Use at night and introduce gradually to minimise irritation.


5. Azelaic Acid

6. Alpha Arbutin

Morning

  4. Moisturiser
  5. Broad-spectrum SPF 30–50+

Evening

  1. Gentle cleanser
  2. Retinoid or azelaic acid (alternate if needed)
  3. Moisturiser

Exfoliating acids can be used on separate evenings one to three times per week, depending on skin tolerance.


How long does it take to see results?

With consistent treatment:

  • 4–8 weeks: Skin may appear brighter.
  • 8–12 weeks: Mild pigmentation often begins to fade.
  • 3–6 months: More noticeable improvement in moderate pigmentation.
